Cherie Down Park is a small beach park in a quiet residential neighborhood in Cape Canaveral. There is nothing
particularly remarkable about it, but if you find some of the other beach accesses too crowded, you might try this
park. There are no food sales, but there is a drink vending machine.
Above: This is the restroom facility at Cherie Down Park, with water fountain and vending.
Above: Rinse-off shower and picnic pavilion.
Above: As far as shells are concerned, this is about the best you'll do on most Atlantic beaches in Florida. As
you can see, there is very little here of interest to a shell collector.
