Cherie Down Park Beach

Location: Cherie Down beach park is located about halfway between Jetty Park and the Cocoa
Beach Pier, in the 8300 block of Ridgeway between Cherie Down Lane and Washington Avenue.
Directions: From A1A, take Church Avenue east to North Atlantic Avenue. Turn left on North
Atlantic, drive a short block and turn right onto Washington Avenue, which will take you to Ridgeway and Cherie
Down Park.

Cost: Entrance and parking are free. The park has a wooden boardwalk parallel to the beach as
well as two wooden dune walk-overs.
Hours: 7am until dark. Gates close at dark.

Rules
- No pets on the beach (service animals are allowed).
- No alcohol on the beach or in the park.
Cherie Down Park is a small beach park in a quiet residential neighborhood in Cape Canaveral. There is nothing
particularly remarkable about it, but if you find some of the other beach accesses too crowded, you might try this
park. There are no food sales, but there is a drink vending machine.

you can see, there is very little here of interest to a shell collector.
