Cocoa Beach Hotels
Cocoa Beach has lots of hotel rooms available. Some are right on the beach while others are across the street.
Most hotels and rental properties have some units that overlook the beach, while others overlook a pool, a parking
area or the street. Make sure you specify which view you want when booking. Hotels play games with words like
“beach front,” beach view,” beach side,” and other variations. If you want a room that is directly on the beach
with a view of the ocean, you have to make sure that’s what you are getting.

Above: This is a typical Cocoa Beach chain hotel room that may range from $69 to $159.
Both chain hotels and mom & pop hotels are well represented in Cocoa Beach. I generally prefer sticking with
the chain hotels unless I get a personal recommendation for a certain mom & pop accommodation. Quality varies a
great deal.
Most of the action in Cocoa Beach is centered in the area around and between the Cocoa Beach Pier and Ron Jon
Surf Shop. That’s a good area to book a hotel. If you prefer a quieter experience, find a hotel a half-mile or so
south of that area.

There are no hotels near Canaveral National Seashore / Playalinda beach, but there are some reasonable hotels in
and near Titusville (not on the beach).
