The privacy of visitors to BeachHunter.net is important to me. 

I recognize that privacy of your personal information is important. This policy explains what types of personal information I may receive and collect when you use visit BeachHunter.net, and how I safeguard your information.  I never sell your personal information to third parties.

Log Files
As with most other websites, BeachHunter.net collects and uses the data contained in log files.  The information in the log files include  your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL or your cable company), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site. Log files do not collect your name, credit card number, street address, phone number, etc., or any other information that will personally identify you.

Cookies and Web Beacons
BeachHunter does not store cookies or any other type of code on your computer or internet browser.

BeachHunter.net uses third party advertisements.  Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on my site, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program) information including your IP address, your ISP , the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed.  This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York real estate ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing hotel ads to someone who frequents travel sites).

You can choose to disable or selectively turn off third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by managing preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security.  However, this can affect how you are able to interact with some websites.  This could include the inability to login to services or programs, such as logging into forums or accounts.

Credit Card Info

When you order one of my books and pay with a credit or debit card, I never see your card number. I am never in possession of your card number, and I do not have access to it. All of my books are sold using PayPal to securely process payments. I simply receive an email notifying me of a sale. If you've ordered a printed book, I also receive your mailing/shipping address so I can send the book to you. If you order my books through Amazon.com I do not receive any information about you, not even your name.
