| Here is the Sunday afternoon "crowd" at Turtle beach. The beach is much narrower than Siesta Public Beach, and the sand is much coarser, with a much higher content of crushed shell. This photo is looking south, toward Midnight Pass and Casey Key (past the condominiums in the distance). The tall Australian Pine trees at left are on the property of a small RV park that sits right on the beach. (next--->) |
