| On Sunday, May 23, 2004, we decided to make a trip to Siesta Key to enjoy the public beach. My beach buddy, Sue, had never been there before and I was looking forward to showing her the beautiful shallow water and wide, snow-white sandy beach. Unfortunately we didn't arrive till nearly noon and the parking lot was full. So we headed south to Turtle beach, which is still on Siesta Key. Turtle beach is on the southern end of Siesta Key and is somewhat out-of-the-way. It is, however, clearly marked with a nice sign, as you can see above. (next --->) |
