At left is a photo of the seawall at Point-of-Rocks. You can walk along the seawall and round the corner to the left is the rocky and shelly Point-of-Rocks Beach. Kids love this beach because of all the rocks and the clear water. Most of the rocks are smooth and flat, but some are covered with VERY slippery algae, so be careful when you step on them.

Here is the rocky beach at Point-of-Rocks. Note the wooden steps leading down to the beach from the private homes. There are no public accesses on this section of beach. So if you are staying in this neighborhood, the only access (unless you are staying in a beach house), is access #13 at the end of Point-of-Rocks Road. But really, that's enough to serve the neighborhood.

The Siesta Sands Resort sits at the end of Point-of-Rocks Road, next to public access #13. It is right on the beach.

This is a view of the upper beach on the Siesta Sands Resort property. They have carved out their own private square of beach and have a small beach shelter, presumably for private parties and weddings. You can see all of the resorts on Crescent beach in the distance, and the Gulf of Mexico to the left.

A view of the beach in front of the Siesta Sands Resort, with small, sea oats covered dunes and beach vegetation in the foreground.

This is one of the Banana Bay Club rental properties on Point-of-Rocks Road. It's a quiet neighborhood and most properties are within a 5 minute walk of the beach. You don't have to cross any busy streets.
