Sea Lice

Sea Lice Information During the months of March through August, residents and tourists along 250 miles of Florida's southern Atlantic coastline have complained of an annoying rash, primarily within areas covered by bathing suits. Commonly attributed to sea-lice, and generally only affecting the Atlantic area around Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Miami area, this page tells you how to recognize, avoid, and treat this condition. You can also read my information on sea lice at http://www.beachhunter.net/thingstoknow/sealice/index.htm
There is a sunscreen containing product that is said to be effective protection from sea lice and jellyfish stings. It is called SafeSea and can be purchased at http://www.buysafesea.com/ .
