Best Beach Restaurants (Tampa Bay area)

Everyone vacationing at the beach has to ask the question: at which restaurant should we eat? One way to answer that question is to ask the locals. Another way is to turn to the free beach business directories that are available free at most hotels. Another way to get a really good restaurant referral is to turn to Bob and Becky Griffin's full color book: Recipes from the Best Beach Restaurants. And of course, after you've eaten at a great restaurant, why not try your hand at making one of their dishes (on a night when you feel like cooking). This beautiful book features the best recipes from the best restaurants on the Tampa Bay area beaches.

Bob and Becky limited their coverage to a 25 mile strip of beach highway running from Pass A Grille to Clearwater Beach. They selected 40 of the best.

Each restaurant included in the book has been reviewed and rated as a superior establishment by Zagat, AAA, Florida Trend Magazine, The St. Petersburg Times, and/or The Wine Spectator Magazine.

Each beach restaurant featured in the book presents a recipe that represents their finest dishes. Information about each restaurant is provided along with color photographs of the dishes and the restaurants.

I highly recommend this book if you enjoy fine dining on the island beaches in the Tampa Bay area. You can order it online by surfing to Bob and Becky Griffin's Best Beach Restaurants website.

I recently met Bob Griffin on Indian Rocks Beach. We were each exhibiting our books at the Winterfest Arts and Crafts Show held by the Calgary Episcopalian Church. My fiance, Sue, went wandering around while I manned our display table and shamelessly promoted my book Florida Beaches--Finding Your Paradise on the Lower Gulf Coast. Sue reported that there was another author at the event, so I had to go and meet him. I introduced myself to Bob and we exchanged books. Bob and his wife Becky also run the website See Florida Online, which covers all of Florida and recommends lodging, restaurants, attractions, entertainment, and recreation.
